In this webinar, Dr. Eric Gordon and Dr. Nafysa Parpia of Gordon Medical are joined by Jason Klop and Shaina Cahill, PhD, of Novel Biome for an in depth conversation about Fecal Microbiota Transplantation, or FMT, and the growing research around the gut microbiome. We explore how FMT works, what goes into making it safe, how treatment is approached, and where it may fit within the care of people living with complex chronic illness.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
Why the gut microbiome matters and its role in immune, brain, and whole-body health.
How FMT works and how it differs from probiotics and supports microbiome restoration.
What treatment involves, including preparation, dosing, safety, and post-treatment support.
What supports better outcomes, including the role of diet, lifestyle, inflammation, and other underlying drivers
Where FMT is being studied, including autoimmune disease, chronic fatigue, IBD, autism, and more
